Judi is a successful professional watercolour artist with extensive teaching experience. Her style is based around traditional watercolours but displays a sense of spontaneity and liveliness that many experienced painters long to emulate.

Our garden appreciation breaks are our longest running special interest holidays and, indeed, are our most popular. Groups are personally led either by the owners of the hotel or the owner of Explore South West, Tim Uff. They will guide you around a variety of smaller private gardens and the larger pre-eminent gardens of Cornwall during April and May, when the flowers are at their peak.

Ray is another professional artist and one who specialises in marine subjects and Landscapes.

Our walking breaks are designed to show guests part of our beautiful county that they would not normally visit. Walks are personally led by the hotel owners and are predominately coastal, but can include woodland and moor walks should the weather dictate.

We will be holding a variety of Bridge Breaks in the hotel over the next two years, ranging from Absolute Beginners upwards. These will be hosted by a member of the English Bridge Union and include seminars each morning and duplicate pairs in the evening.

Local teacher and cellist, Elizabeth Brazier, together with visiting professional
cellists, will be hosting this course again.
